Adam Carnegie Illustration

I studied Graphic Design. Was an Art Director at Ogilvy in Cape Town. Travelled in Europe and was the Art Director of a children's magazine in Greece. Became their principle illustrator and Cartoonist.

 

Returned to Cape Town, South Africa in 1996 and began a career as a freelancer supporting Advertising Agencies. Specialized as a children's illustrator and worked for many direct marketing campaigns for local brands.

 

I am passionate about campaigning. I seek the Human Truth in my work. I am a perfectionist. I love new challenges and learning new techniques. While almost all my work is digital I still do all my draft works in pencil and usually do all my finished art line works with dipped pen and ink.
